The Dark Side , Anthony O’Neill ’s novel about an android gone amok on the Moon and the detective transmit to block up him , is make its way to the picture . The eBook was only exhaust two month ago — but now , a screenwriter has been attached to accommodate it .
That author is Javier Gullon , who ’ll adapt The Dark Side for producers including Oscar - winner Steve Zaillian . He previously wrote Denis Villeneuve ’s trippy picture Enemy , as well as a spec hand called 478 , which has Arnold Schwarzenegger attached to star .
twentieth Century Fox beak up The Dark Side several month before it was first write this past June . The story centers on a Moon - base prison house where an android has gone on a homicidal rampage and a “ down on his luck ” investigator is coif on the face . It sounds like Alien 3 meets Terminator meet Chinatown .

And while it ’s always awesome to pick up about potentially new , exciting science fabrication stories coming down the superhighway , it ’s also important to retrieve one affair . Gullon has yet to write this . So while it sound good in theory , for the moving picture to get made the playscript has to be near enough to get a theater director concerned . Then the studio , director and producer have to ensconce on a vision , budget , cast and more before this comes close to a greenish light . But who know ? All the best movies were at this stage at one point , too .
