They have their own mythology , that runs in their own elbow room . Which is what I love to do . It ’s slightly pre - history , although it ’s early civilisation type of pre - story , but rooted in an live funny book franchise — and an actual lit franchise . But I ca n’t really say yet [ what it is ] . And then the other animise film is also based on a amusing book franchise .

So the great unwashed are coming to you now and inquire if you may take on their franchises ?

Yeah , or it ’s property that I find , that I ’m really drawn to , appeal to . And I ’ll approach them and say , “ Hey , I ’m interested in developing this into a characteristic . ” The repair one is sort of like a shading of Dark Crystal cope with Lord Of The Rings meets Secret Of Nimh , with a little touch of ancient Viking mythology and Old Testament . They might have a little more trust and organized religion that these things can find an audience , and that would be with child — both for me and for other film - Creator who are attempt to do something different .
