A cave filled with an incredible quantity of fauna bones – from mammoth and bears to frogs and befuddled rhinoceros – has been discovered in Siberia . Found near the Siberian metropolis of Khakassia , thecavewas home to the extinct hyena species around 42,000 year ago and is thought to be the largest cave hyaena lair ever discovered in Asia .

They also discovered the skull of two cave hyenas , affirming their suspicion that this was a feeding hub for this predator .
