Dr. Horrible ’s Sing - along Blog was this perfect fiddling burst of melodic - dramatics supervillainy , which rock the internet … and then there was no more . Are we going to have to cite the Evil League of Evil to get us a sequel ? Apparently not . It ’s still happening … just very , very easy .
Entertainment Weeklyis doing a special emergence about the betting odds of fan - preferred serial returning , and they managed to get an update on the Dr. Horrible sequel from ballad maker Jed Whedon , who ’s presently working on Marvel ’s Agents of SHIELD . Whedon writes :
We know we have spoken publicly about a sequel in the near distance andour warmth to create it , and I prognosticate we have not been insincere . Horribleis still one of our pet creations by humans who were also us . Wehave many songs written and the secret plan outline , but needless to say , we’ve been busy . Joss has had a feverish couple of years and is in themiddle of the busy year of his life sentence , as is Zack and as are we . Alsothe actors have other thing they ’re play in , I think . So the futureis uncertain , our passionateness stay . DH2 will survive , in some format or another , at some point in the time to come . unluckily , the when is still unreadable .
Not surprising that Joss Whedon is kind of swamped with Avengers 2 , plus overseeing the Marvel Cinematic Universe in worldwide . And the other contributors are busy with stuff and nonsense like SHIELD and Sundance ’s upcoming show Red Road . But the fact that there are genuine songs written and a plot of ground outline is new , and moderately encouraging . [ EW ]
