First Look At Matt Damon AsThe Martian

The flick adaptation of Andy Weir ’s hit scifi novel is on its way , andEmpirehas given us the first look at Matt Damon as Mark Watney , an astronaut who is incidentally left behind on Mars and must use his wits to go . This basically means this is a pic of Damon in a space suit , but we ’ll take it .

If for some reason you have n’t checked it out yet , The Martian is a great read , and Ridley Scott is directing the pic interpretation . Damon ’s everyman calibre will make for a pure Watney , who deal with his absurdly horrible situation with resourcefulness and a great deal of humor .
