Though he does n’t have traditional super powers like most of his protagonist , Batman ’s get a lot going for him . He ’s a bounteous , plentiful , athletic white guy with about endless resources at his disposal . Suicide Squad # 22 opens with Amanda Waller run away from a dim retention facility somewhere in Alaska ’s Denali National Park . Barefoot and terrorise , Waller hotfoot through the forest in search of assistance until she find a highway and flag down a buy the farm family unit in their car . The kinsfolk arrest to pluck Waller up and give her a ride , and when they ask her what she ’s doing in the woodwind in the middle of the dark , she explains to them that she ’s escaped from her snatcher ’s hold and that she call for to go to the nearby Fort Wainwright USA groundwork .

Though we first saw her desperately trying to get away from Karla , when Waller is eventually reunite with the Suicide Squad , she informs them that they have a new charge which echoes Karla ’s smell . The Squad is told that they all need to be prepared for the neutralization reaction of two of the Justice League ’s metahuman member : Killer Frost and Batman .
The business line get quickly and go unremarked upon , but it did n’t take long for DC fans to clearly assume that this might be the beginning of a new canon for Batman that introduces him to actual great power .
But fit in to All Star Batman writer Scott Snyder , Waller ’s ring Batman a metahuman is incorrect . While his overall “ awesomeness ” might make him seem like a metahuman , Snyder reasoned , Bruce Wayne is still very much a service line human who merely does a lot of CrossFit in his basement and dress up like a bat .

As cool as Batman is , there ’s always something a little bothersome about the great unwashed who argue that he ’s just an mundane man who works very , very intemperate to do the thing he ’s able to do . His powers of tax deduction evaporate the moment people look away definitely seem like top executive from time to metre , and it stands to reason that Waller might honestly call back that he ’s able to do all of those thing because of a meta - factor . She knows that Batman is Bruce Wayne , but she does n’t necessarily know everything about Bruce ’s biology .
Regardless of what Waller does or does n’t know , we can say with confidence that , for the time being , Batman is still a steady flatscan .
