Jack Osbournegot some astute advice before heading to participate inSpecial Forces: World’s Toughest Test.
Chatting with PEOPLE exclusively ahead of the release of season 2 of Fox’s boot camp reality show, the son ofOzzy OsbourneandSharon Osbournereflected on the sage wisdom his family gave him before leaving to film the series.
“They didn’t really get it,” Osbourne says of initially telling his family about the show. “They kind of get it, but they hadn’t seen the show. So their whole thing is just be careful, don’t get hurt. You’ve got kids.”

TheFright Clubstar, 37, says his 10-year-old daughter Pearl found the whole thing hilarious. “She just thinks it’s funny at that kind of, everything’s funny and makes fun of everything kind of age right now,” he tells PEOPLE.
“I’m excited for her to see it. I’m also dreadfully embarrassed,” he says.
“What’s going to make the cut? Because there was a lot, I mean, there were days where I’m like, ‘I don’t know how they’re going to make one episode out of this, because so much stuff has happened.'”
Osbourne shares daughters Pearl, Minnie Theodora, 5, Andy Rose, 7, with ex-wife Lisa Stelley. He is also dad to daughter Maple Artemis, 13 months, with fiancée Aree Gearhart.
Earlier this month, the girl dadshared a few sweet photos on Instagram before two of his daughters headed to schoolfor their first day back. His daughters Andy and Minnie held up signs that said “First Day of Kindergarten,” and “First Day of 3rd Grade,” as their dad snapped their photo.
“First Day of School! Maple with the big send off for Andy & Minnie,” Osbourne began, adding, “and poor Pearl with a rough start to Middle School with a 🤒 of 101.5.”
Osbourne’s oldest daughter was shown in the second photo lying in bed seemingly ill with a sign that read, “First Day of 6th Grade!”
