Kaley Cuocoloved how her wedding toKarl Cookturned out — especially when it came to this equine detail.
Ahead of her one-year anniversary,The Big Bang Theorystar, 33, toldExtrathat the pair’s June 1 nuptials were “pretty awesome.”
“When I first met Karl, I went to his ranch … and I thought, ‘Oh, my, God, if I marry this guy, I’m getting married in this barn.’ It was as if I had this picture in my mind and it literally came off the page,” she shared.
Horses are very important to the couple. Cook, 28, is a professional equestrian while Cuocoowns several horses.
“All my horses were on one side, all his were on the other. My dream was walking down the aisle with them all looking at me — it was exactly what I wanted,” she shared, before joking, “Karl was there too, but the horses were great.”

Months later, the pair jetted off to Switzerland in December to celebrate with abelated honeymoon.
“He is my perfect match,”Cuoco told PEOPLEof her husband in March 2018. “He lets me wake up in the morning and say, ‘I want to go and rescue rabbits.’ And he’s like, ‘All right, let’s get a coffee and let’s go.’ And that is him. We are the same, our views are the same, our morals are the same, he is my perfect match.”

Cuoco, who revealed earlier this week that shegot very emotional during the last table readforThe Big Bang Theory,also opened up about how difficult it’s been to deal with the fact that the show is ending after 12 seasons.

After she first found out the show would be coming to an end, Cuoco toldExtrathat she “cried for about a week straight.”
“I was in a little bit of a depression. It just felt weird, someone telling you your destiny, like, ‘This is going to change in a year.’ It took me a minute, kind of like a weird, emotional death now,” she shared, adding that she has taken over 2,000 pictures from her time on set which she hopes “to turn into a book one day.”

In February, the star revealed that she plans to take a little piece of the series home with her following the filming of the final scene: the photo of two robots in a wrestling ring that hangs on a door in Leonard and Sheldon’s apartment.
“It’s something that I love so much and I’ve looked at it for 12 years,” she told reporters. “It’s always in my eyeline from where I sit in the living room set, so I’m glad I’m going to put it in my own living room so I’ll see it forever.”

As for what she and Cook plan to do when the show is finally over, Cuoco said there will be a lot of traveling in their future.
“Karl and I are going to travel a bit,” she toldExtra. “We spend a lot of time in Kentucky. We love Kentucky — horses, bourbon.”
