Ryan Seacrestshared a peek at his new puppy love.
Earlier this month, theWheel of Fortunehost, 49,announced on Instagramthat he recently added another dog to his pack.
On Monday morning, the formerLive with Kelly and Ryanhost visited his old stomping grounds, where he shared a bit more about Olio with the hostsKelly RipaandMark Consuelos. During their conversation, Ripa, 53, asked her former cohost if he had any new additions to his love life, which gave Seacrest the opportunity to talk about his new puppy.
“Is he an Italian dog?” asked Conseulos.
“Yes, he speaks Italian,” joked Seacrest. “Yes, he loves marinara, and he’s named after olive oil.”
“Now,Georgia, what does she think about this new addition?” Consuelos asked of Seacrest’s beloved older dog.
“Georgia rolled her eyes for a couple of months,” quipped theAmerican Idolhost. “And now they’re close.” He explained that Georgia is “getting up there.”

Ripa then jokingly asked if the new puppy truffle hunts. “Is this one of your truffle-hunting dogs?”
“I haven’t entered Olio into the school yet at the training of language school truffle hunting, you know,” said Seacrest.
Quickly, Ripa asked, “Does Olio only speak English?” He cheekily retorted, “Dogs don’t speak.”
“But they understand,” added Consuelos.
“He doesn’t speak Italian,” confirmed Seacrest. “Yeah, I don’t command him in Italian.” But with a little help from Consuelos, Seacrest proposed he may start commanding Olio to go to sleep in exclusively Italian.
