They’re calling again …
The beloved sitcomFrasiermarked the 30th anniversary of its premiere on Sept. 16, 2023, and some members of the cast arereturning to the small screen beginning on Oct. 12, 2023,for a revival of the series on Paramount+.
In a chat with PEOPLEin 2022, starKelsey Grammersaid the new series is “aFrasierthird act. It’s an entirely new life for him.”

Grammer joined the cast ofCheersearly in his career — 1984, to be exact — growing his slightly neurotic psychiatrist Dr. Frasier Crane from Boston barfly to Seattle radio host on the 1993 spinoff,Frasier.
He won three Emmys for his work, and hasn’t slowed down since, voicing Sideshow Bob onThe Simpsons,starring inseveral Broadway productionsand even joining daughter Spencer in a 2022 Lifetime holiday movie.
Grammer, 68, will return for theFrasierrevival.

Though he isn’t returning for the revival —Grammer said Pierce"wasn’t really interested in repeating the performance" — he has been quite busy in the years sinceFrasierended, starring in several Broadway productions and more recently as Julia Childs' husband Paul in HBO Max’sJulia.Like Grammer, he did voice work onThe Simpsons,too.
The two-time Tony Award winner, 64,has been with his husband, Brian Hargrove, for 40 years.

Leeves had roles onSeinfeld, Murphy BrownandThrobbefore joiningFrasieras patriarch Martin Crane’s witty live-in caretaker — and eventual Mrs. Niles Crane.
Leeves, 62, has two children with her husband, television executive Marshall Coben.

And like her costars, she has stayed busy on the small screen ever since, picking up voice work in addition to parts onScorpion, Make It or Break ItandMrs. Robinson,which also starredGrammer’s daughter, Spencer.
The actress, 62,will return to theFrasierrevivalas a guest star.
Gilpin is married with two children.

Coming with Grammer fromCheerswas Neuwirth, who played Lilith, his icy ex and mother of his child.
She’ll also return to theFrasierrevivalin a guest starring role, it was confirmed earlier this year.
Neuwirth, 64, has been married to second husband Chris Calkins since 2009.

Mahoney got his start on the Chicago stage, joining the storied Steppenwolf Theatre after immigrating from England.
“The theater is my brothers, my sisters, my father, my mother, my wife,”he once said. “It is everything to me.”
He eventually returned to stage work, though, starring in the Broadway revival of the playPrelude to a Kiss,Better LateandThe Outgoing Tideat the Northlight Theatre in Illinois.
The actor — who never married and did not have children —died in 2018 at age 77.
